Released in 2011 the coin was issued to celebrate 50 years of  WWF or World Wildlife Federation and features a huge number of different animals, with the distinctive Panda from their logo at the centre. With a mintage of 3,400,000 the coin is relatively rare and is also a particularly popular design - with animal lovers all over the country drawn to the design regardless of whether they collect coins or not.
