Released in 2011 to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games, the coin is part of a series of 29 coins each portraying an Olympic or Paralympic sport. With a mintage of 3,345,500 the coin is in relatively plentiful supply and is one of the easier Olympic 50p's to find in your change.
